In 2020 in the early days of the pandemic, our long-time pirate friend Ryan sent me some lyrics that I thought fit perfectly with a wonderful melody Jeff had sung for me a few years earlier. While we were playing the Tennessee Pirate Fest I recruited Reagan DeBusk from the Crossjacks to come to the hotel room and record penny whistle.
